Meet Your Host
Greg Peterson has been digging his toes into the earth, listening to the plants, and experimenting with progressive permaculture techniques in his yard for over 40 years. His 1/3-acre home in Phoenix, AZ has been converted into an entirely edible landscape open to the community for tours and classes, and his fruit tree program has resulted in the planting of over 10,000 fruit trees. Greg's mission is to show others that they too can realize the power, joy and deliciousness of urban farming!
Greg received his Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University, and has since taught at a trade school and even returned to his alma mater to teach Sustainable Food and Farms. He started UrbanFarm.org to build a community for urban farmers and home gardeners around the world to come for inspiration, education, and advice. His podcast, The Urban Farm Podcast, has been so fun and successful that he has decided to reach to even more people by starting the Edible Backyard Summit and the Global Seed Summit.

When is the Global Seed Summit?
The Global Seed Summit occurs on November 17, 18, 19, and 20. Each day begins at 2pm Pacific/3pm Arizona time.
How does the Global Seed Summit work?
When you sign up, you'll receive an email with more details. Then, each day of the Summit at 2pm Pacific/3pm Arizona time, you will be emailed links to attend the Global Seed Summit (it will be aired on Zoom and Facebook). Each day will begin with a presentation from one of our experts. There will be live Q&A sessions throughout the day (Q&As will not be recorded and must be attended live). There will be prizes given throughout the Summit for live attendees!
What if I miss something or can't make it to the entire thing? Will presentations be recorded?
No problem! Replays for each presentation will be available for 24 hours. You will also have the option of purchasing lifetime access to the entire Summit if you decide you would like more time or want to return again and again.
How will I know the schedule for each day?
Once you sign up, you'll receive an email in your inbox with all of the details. You'll also receive an email every morning on the day of the Summit with that day's schedule so that you don't miss a thing.
Is it really free?
Yes! The entire Summit is free to attend live, and the replays for each presentation will be available for 24 hours.
